It's time to start thinking about the cold weather, gentlemen. Unfortunately, Shorewood, Wisconsin winters are pretty cold—to say the least—which can put a serious cramp in a well-dressed gentleman’s style. But, there is a brand of outerwear that is both fashionable and functional, and it’s called Canada Goose.

Their parkas aren’t puffer jackets—they are sleek, sporty coats that exude style and class. The hardware is minimal, and the silhouettes are streamlined, so it is a very classic, clean aesthetic. It might not look as sophisticated as your pea coat, but it is definitely a cut above the puffer coat you throw on for a Sunday morning grocery store run.

And they are warm. The jackets were originally made for arctic researchers traversing some of the coldest places on earth, so surely, they will be cozy for Shorewood or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Also, all Canada Goose products are made in Canada. (In other words, people who know a thing or two about guarding against the cold make them.)

For instance, all Canada Goose jacket hoods are lined with coyote fur because it never freezes (unlike faux fur), doesn't hold water, and the uneven hair lengths create a windbreak that protects exposed skin, helping to reduce heat loss from the face.

All of their insulation blends include some Hutterite down, among the most premium Canadian down available. Its ability to retain more warm air than other types of down results in lighter weight jackets that don't sacrifice warmth.

Don’t get caught in the cold—come see Harleys' selection of Canada Goose parkas today. Find us here.
