Why Designer Underwear Matters (and a shoutout to V.K. Nagrani)
Posted on

OK, gentlemen of Shorewood, Wisconsin, let’s get personal and talk about…underwear.

No, not your underwear (what kind of blog do you think this is?), but about why you should own high quality, well-made undergarments.

First, since you are reading this blog, chances are you are the type of guy who wears fine suits and dress shirts, and projects an image of sophistication and superior taste. So then, why would you pair your fancy duds with the tighty-whities your wife or girlfriend picked up for you at the nearest big-box store?

You wouldn’t, that’s right.

It’s like Vivek Nagrani, founder of V.K. Nagrani, a brand of world-renowned socks and underwear, told IndUS Business: “If someone wears a $6,000 suit to the workplace, he can't have $6 socks.”

Though Mr. Nagrani is talking about socks, we think the same applies to underwear.

It’s easy to not care about underclothing—no one sees it (during office hours, anyway) and its purpose is primarily functional. However, have you ever worn a pair of underwear so comfortable and soft that it feels like you’re walking on a cloud? Or, well, sitting on one?

It’s priceless.

A good pair of underwear is like a hidden shield of confidence, because when you feel good, you look good. It doesn’t matter that no one sees it (and if they do, you need to talk to your tailor about making your pants looser), just that they see a man who’s comfortable in his own skin…and briefs.

We have a variety of designer boxers and briefs at Harleys, including those by the above mentioned V.K. Nagrani. V.K. Nagrani briefs are so comfortable—they don’t ride up or cause chaffing—you won’t want to wear another brand once you’ve put on a pair. First-time customers almost always become life-long fans.

See us at Harleys in Shorewood for our full selection of V.K. Nagrani underwear. Find us here.
